Finding the one angle in the Pastor Rick Warren story that even the most slavish PEBO devotee had not yet concocted, Dionne sees the invitation extended to Warren to deliver a prayer at the Inaugural as a tactical victory for PEBO's campaign to separate Evangelicals from the conservative movement. Claiming that Warren's acceptance has "enraged" Warren's allies on the right, Dionne delights in the possibility that Warren's acceptance will result in some kind of destabilization of conservatism. Only problem is, I haven't seen much "rage" on the right about Warren accepting this offer. In fact, the only reaction I've seen on the right has been delight, as the hyperventilating Code Pinkers who so vociferously pushed The One on us show their true colors in vocal criticisms of Obama for his choice.
Update: this one is classic. Richard Cohen's article this morning is about his (gay) sister's cancellation of her Inauguration Night party because of Obama's invitation to Warren. Joe Biden may be a blowhard, but he sure does understand Democratic voters. They will turn on Obama in a New York Minute if he doesn't sufficiently toe whatever party line it is their victimology requires.

As I said in an earlier post, "talk about delicious!" Watching the left rip apart from one of their many many seams before their chosen one even chooses what suit he'll wear for the oath of office is just, well, here goes, "yummy". Okay, I am prepared for the very justified questions about my sexual orientation and/or testosterone levels for using a word like "yummy" but I am really enjoying watching the left behaving so leftistly and yummy seems to best describe the whole experience.
What is classic, almost chiche', is that Cohen has a lesbian sister.
Yeah, no joke.
