I'm happy to announce that frequent contributor and guest blogger on this site Goldwater's Ghost has struck out on his own and created a blog, "Postcards From the Backbench". Those of you who criticize me for taking up your day...well, don't click
this link. If you do, you'll have yet another site that takes up your time. GG is intelligent and insightful, and his site is a hit!
What do you mean "yet another site"? Now that GG has his own site, I don't need to read CW anymore. And I'm going to click on every single ad he has. Twice.
ReplyDeleteYou wound me with your stinging words.
ReplyDeleteWhy aren't you out hunting?
ReplyDeleteI already hear that they are referring to the Conservative Wahoo as "Goldwater's Ghost Lite".
ReplyDeleteCW - thank you for the plug and the encouragement. I like to think of Postcards as a primer for the CW.
ReplyDeleteMudge, for not having met you, I can tell you are a profoundly wise and learned person. Happy hunting.
de Plume - I look forward to your snarkiness over at Postcards...
While reading GG's welcoming statement, I had to laugh about him stating that while others were outside riding bikes, he was watching TV. I can remember another member of the family who rarely put a book down during the summer to play a little ball. When you did, you quit when your ups were over. You would have thought that I would have been smart enough to bat first to maybe get a full inning off of you.
ReplyDeleteSamS.... if it is CW to whom you refer, I have to counter. One fine spring day in Crystal City, CW and I grabbed our ball gloves, went down to a large swath of grass in the middle of Crystal Mall 3, and proceeded to have a lunch-hour catch. We were the envy of every guy who walked by and wanted to show-off his high school curve-ball. One of those Joint Staff moments that never happen on the Army Staff.
