Strategy Smategy--Here are Some Tactics for Republicans....

Here's a really smart set of actions/recommendations on how Republicans ought to move forward while folks like David Brooks, Goldwater's Ghost and I debate whether to move in the direction of reformists or traditionalists.

  1. I share the same blog space with both David Brooks and the CW. You like me, you really like me.

Yes, good stuff, especially the part about leadership at the top. Republicans won't be going anywhere without a strong, unifying leader with tech and PR savvy. Speaking of RNC chairs, did you happen to catch the Frontline piece on Lee Atwater the other night? Talk about barracuda's.

I like Jindal, he's got a confident nature about him - but he looks....muppet-like. Some sort of facial hair would help.

  3. Speaking of how looks (and speeches) can affect the success of a politician, how long before we can draw comparisons between Warren Harding and Barack Obama? Amazingly similar when you compare the two.
