Limbaugh and the NFL

What's going on with this story? Am I missing something important, or is my anti-Limbaugh bias serving me well?

  1. I'm no Rush fan either, but in a country when many defend Roman Polanski...and a league that has Keith Olbermann anchoring Sunday night football broadcasts...and players that number among their ranks dogfighters and wife beaters, this is ridiculous.

  2. Sally - As usual, you've nailed it. Can't help but wonder though, if white players reacted similarly to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson attempting to buy the same team, how the media frenzy to denounce the players would make a goal line pile up look like a cozy gathering of pals.

  3. I love Rush, always did. In a country with a corrupt media, he often times was the only counterweight to their BS. Let me tell you something, the left hates him because he laughs at them. He makes fun of them. He makes asses out of them. Some otherwise intelligent people don't like him because they thinks he's harsh or rude or insensitive. He's not cool to like with their family or friends. To those people I say grow a pair.
Just remember this, all good things come to those who wait, but only the leftovers. If you want to go through life like the "moderate" Republicans, go ahead. But not me, I play to win, and so does Rush.

  4. It's irrelevant what anyone thinks of Rush or his politics (I love him) - this is a PRIVATE transaction by a PRIVATE citizen. It is of no business of anyone but those in the NFL who must approve this, especially charlatans like Jackson and Sharpton but more importantly, Rep. Sheila Jackson. It is of ABSOLUTELY NO business of the government, and her speech against it on the floor of the House was totally inappropriate.

Racial progress set back another 10 years. Sharpton's income remains secure...
