Salon.com Notices Our Blog!

I noticed some traffic coming our way this morning from Salon.com, and I was instantly interested.  I found this post, which readers here may find of interest.  Ms. Walsh appears to believe that I called Sandra Fluke a "welfare queen".  Not sure that's a fair charge--though I did strongly assert that what the middle class used to criticize as the status of "welfare queen" has come around full square to describe its own increasing dependency on entitlements.  What are your views?  Did I call Ms. Fluke a welfare queen?

  1. Ms. Walsh really does need to check her facts and not just accept blindly the bon mots and trinkets her journo school interns place before her.

  3. No, you did not. Moreover, you implied that perhaps we all have become to comfortable with entitlements. To me, your statement was more of a call for introspection and you stood up for the equal rights of women. It seemed that Rush is poisoning the conservative dialog, perhaps he should sallow some of his oxycondone and snooze for a while and let Romney speak for the urgent matters in front of the Nation.

  4. I think folks who took the time to click on Salon's hyperlink to your article will not understand, since, in the usual way of today's ADD society, they will only read the first couple of paragraphs and see that you're bashing Limbaugh.
