Big Fat Friday Free For All

Good day, friends.  What has you troubled?  Your lame potshot at stay at home mothers got you in hot water with your own party?  Ran for President for 18 months and all you have to show for it is a T-shirt?  Share your troubles and concerns.  Today is your day.

  1. Very glad to see Obama's acolytes continue their buffoonery, the latest being Msssssss. Hilary Rosen's insulting comment about Ann Romney "never working a day in her life". Isn't that the very thing libs used to accuse Republicans of doing, devaluing stay at home moms?

At this stage it's pretty clear the Obama team is just not suited to a "defend the record" incumbency kind of campaign. They are still running as change-agent outsiders against the establishment. It won't work. It can't work. His whole focus is on defending the status quo (the welfare state) so how exactly is that change? More of the same when the economy sucks is not a winning campaign theme.

Obama's & Co. have stepped in one pile of dog crap after another. They have blown the momentum a couple of times now. So I believe there will be a shake-up real soon. You don't want your quarterback playing middle linebacker and sooner or later the Dems will realize this. So it's goodbye David Plouffe and Jim Messina hello Steve Schmidt (I wish).

  2. Romney supporter here. Still....
    acolyte?
    manufacture controversy much?
the woman, happens to be a democrat, worded poorly a statement meant to point out Ms. Romney's circumstances don't really make her an expert on the economic concerns of most women as hard as she has worked raising 5 kids (+cancer and MS!).
If it is insulting to suggest that a SAHM never worked a day in her life, would you extend the same defense to a welfare mother (not queen) who is on the dole so she can raise her kid? Of course you wouldn't...

  3. Unfortunately the voters of today are the products of the liberal left programs to dumb down education. How else could you explain Obama's election. They will vote again, the dumb, the lazy, the entitlement mentality, the Occupy groups, the women. All form a group that is difficult to outnumber. Imagine what further damage he will do when unencumbered by the worry of reelection.

  4. Imagine indeed: "Imagine all the people, living off your pay-ay-ay-ayayay..."

Now that I'm done with my slight rewrite of that liberal anthem, I have to take exception to grouping women in with your list of reliable dem voters. Whether one stands or sits for certain functions seems unrelated to his or her political suasion.

  5. Responding to a question at a town hall event in Manchester, New Hampshire on January 4th, Romney described his position on work requirements for welfare recipients as governor of Massachusetts.“I wanted to increase the work requirement,” Romney said. “I said, for instance, that even if you have a child two years of age, you need to go to work. And people said, ‘Well that's heartless,' and I said ‘No, no, I'm willing to spend more giving daycare to allow those parents to go back to work. It'll cost the state more providing that daycare, but I want the individuals to have the dignity of work.’”- Mitt Romney
