Just received a generous donation from my favorite resident of the Virginia sliver of the Eastern Shore. Much obliged, shipmate. By the way, I drove by an awful lot of Obama signs down there today---whaddupwidat?
That was probably while you were in Northampton County which has a majority population of those who are accustomed to availing themselves of government services.
I am from Accomack County which has a majority population of those who are accustomed to paying for those government services.
It is likely that Northampton will vote for four more years of what they view as restitution; Accomack will vote for four new years of what they view as restoration.
Signage was probably reflective of those demographics. I do note, with satisfaction however, that the amount of signage for Obama is way down from 2008 and for the GoP candidate is way up from 2008.
