What's the matter, chum? Disappointed in the reaction of undecided voters to your attack dog approach? Mad at those mean old Congressional Republicans for having the temerity to investigate the murder of a U.S. Ambassador? Get it off your chest! Share!
In honor of the change of command ceremony taking place today on my old ship, USS BULKELEY (DDG 84) (where I am now headed at this ungodly hour of the morning), I give you this awesomeness:
Not a big fan of the baseball cap turned backwards look that Ryan had in his workout photo shoot.
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed an awesome vessel, and crew--we spent a day on 84 in the Virginia Capes several years ago. Capt. McGrath and all others made us feel "at home" on a terrific vessel. . . .
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mr. Shaffer. I am glad you were able to get to realize some return on your investment in the ship!

It's always fun to watch the DDGs play like that. I'm guessing this photo was taken from the starboard quarter of a cruiser steaming at split plant.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, great photo, greater memories.
