The fellow who tried to commit "suicide by COP" at the Holocaust Memorial (in the process murdering an innocent guard) was apparently well-known here in my little adopted Eastern Shore town. He appears to have been quite the loony, with local shopkeepers having had run-ins with him on occasion.
He and I were not acquainted.
