What's keeping you agitated, folks? Worried about the debt crisis? Casey Anthony got you down? Tired of watching little panty-waist David Brooks kick the Tea Party's ass? Let it all out, folks. Emote.
Talk about unfortunate timing. Barry O's favorite child rapist/killer has the bad luck of a scheduled execution the day after Casey Anthony walks for killing her own kid.
Just for the record, if Sweden (or Mexico for that matter) wants to execute an American who has lived from age 2 through 20 in their country and decides to rape and kill a 16 year old, I'm all for it.
I, for one, am fed up with all the whining about Casey Anthony's "non-conviction." I wonder how those same people would feel if they were accused of a crime, but did not get the use of a justice system that had to overcome doubt for a conviction. -- botts21 sends
The 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon is symbolic and poignant. The benches of the 184 are arranged in the flight path, facing in or out depending on if the person was in the building or on the plane.
They are arranged in parallel lines in year order, starting with 3-year old Dana Falkenberg. Yes, 3. A reminder of the innocent victims, lest there be any doubt.
The two tallest buildings in the world stood there. Thousands of people were killed by terrorists. Firefighters and police and first responders and civilians performed noble, heroic acts. And in the minutes, days and weeks after, our country and the world came together.
A sad but not surprising outcome. This woman is a sociopathic killer and just like Crystal Mangnum (the Duke Lacrosse accuser) she will come to ruin. She can't change who and what she is.
Am I the only TV watcher who has noticed the added amount of commercials these days? There is a very noticable increase in the amount of non-content on almost every variety of programming. I put the stop watch on Diane Sawer's ABC 28 minute (yes, they cut back to 28 minutes to get in two minutes of commercials at the very end) broadcast a few nights ago and guess what, her news content was only twenty-one minutes long with seven of the twenty-eight minutes devoted to commercials. That 25% folks, and if you have satilite or cable you're paying for that 25% of TV ads for stuff you may never purchase in your lifetime. Who do we see to get limitations on this crapola?

The abstract nature of the national 9/11 Memorial in NYC bothers me deeply.

The story must be told and NEVER FORGOTTEN.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question Botts21, I would be pretty happy that I got away with murder.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Casey Anthony, when someone beats an almost certain murder conviction, aren't those of similar race all supposed to go out and riot?
