Saturday's New York Times shed much needed light on one of our nation's most pressing social problems, and that is the horrible scourge of sizism. That we today, advanced 21st century beings that we are, would be ruled by so primal and irrational an instinct as to turn to the human of greater size for leadership and wisdom bespeaks a tribalism and infantilism that I had hoped we'd moved beyond.
Join me in rising up against the horrible injustice of sizism, so that we together may someday judge a man not by the length of his trousers, but by the content of his character.
