Not quite Tuesdays with Morrie,
but unlike Tuesdays, you won't need any hankies to read this great Mitch Albom piece on the taxing of evil rich people. Yes, we discuss the subject a lot on here, but...it's worth discussing.

No surprise that a writer the likes of Albom can write well, and that he did so here. What surprises me is that a writer who wrote a book that I believe made Oprah's book club also had the awareness of reality to write THIS piece. Good on you Mitch. Keep writing.

-but worth noting, in reality the top 1% of earners only shell out 22.45% of their (Adjusted Gross) Income according to the data you linked to in one of your previous posts, not "around 35%" which is the statutory rate. (http://www.taxfoundation.org/news/show/250.html).
