I took the day off to celebrate(!) and watching the CNN folks, I have to ask my Democratic friends this question: Nobody gave a sh*t about balancing the budget yesterday, but now that is all Carville can talk about. And eve David Gergen seems to have a hard time with the linkage between the healthcare bill and the deficit.
CNN is breathless over the changes that happened last night. All those Midwest States that went Republican last night? Most of them have Republican Governors now, but more importantly, FL, OH, PA, WI, MI, and IA each have a Senator that is up for reelection in 2012. Ponder what THAT means.
And those Senators? All Democrats.
