Big Fat Friday Free For All

What's the matter D'Artagnan?  Rough week, huh?  Yeah.  We know.  Hard to be the savior of the free world when everyone's holding you to trivialities, like the law.  And your promises.

Don't hold back, friend.  Let it out.  Bitch, whine, kvetch.

I like to personally welcome CW back to the living. We all missed you terribly....yawn.

But let's move on. The poor guy has been ranting lately on FB about winning the Powerball and the Bentley he would buy with the cash. I swear he sounds like some trailer-park porch monkey crying "If I'd only finished high school I'd be a forklift operator by now"! But I don't want to be too hard on the guy, it's fun to speculate and dream about winning a hundred million dollars the shit you could would buy.

CW said one of the first things he would do is set up education funds for the extended family, and that would be a good idea. My approach would be a bit different. I would give a couple mil to each of my siblings and let their kids hassle them for money instead of me. I'd also let it be known if they ever mentioned money to me again I'd have them killed. I would go underground with a new pay to play cell phone everyday and I'd move into a gated community like where John Edwards had Rielle Hunter stashed. I'd buy the hottest sports car in the world and keep it at The Nürburgring and fly in a couple of times a year (on my way to my villa at Lake Garda) for a little R&R. I'd have a home theater set up like on the Sopranos with top of the line Klipschorn speakers and a TecnoVision 205 in HDTV. I'd have Van Halen (with David Lee Roth) play my backyard birthday bash out by my olympic sized, salt water infinity pool with the bottom painted like a coral reef. I'd have a Mexkin gardner, a French maid and a Filipino house-servant (slave) just like the Navy officers used to have.

But dear friends, money is an illusion. Is it good to have money? You bet! Is it necessary to a happy life? No, in fact in the wrong hands it's like playing catch with a hand grenade (it's only thrilling for a while and sooner or later something bad is gonna happen).

So CW, if you never get that Bentley, you'll be just fine. You'll just have to settle for the Jag you actually earned.
