Oh we are so screwed if it comes down to "Canadian style" healthcare.
Doc - Not screwed. In fact, there are three benefits that only tax payers will receive. A federally-administered enema, followed by a colonoscopy then a prostate check. This will be administered annually with increasing thoroughness every April 15th. It might feel as if you are being screwed, but trust me, it's good for America.
Then by golly, if it's good for Amerika...!
Evening news last night with Diane Sawyer. Wait time to see a GP in MA pre-universal Mass health care - 41 days. Now it's 44 days. Additionally, Emergency Room use has also gone up slightly. Thought that's what the uninsured did, go to the ER for treatment.
