Another wingnut suicide by cop last night, this time at the Pentagon. I come and go through the Metro entrance all the time; impressive security. If you get past the two folks this guy shot, you then enter a main turnstile chamber. Lots of guards there too, including one or two with good look down shooting positions and automatic weapons.
Why can't idiots like this with a death wish just put the barrel in their own mouths and pull the trigger?

In the Army, we like to call that "good fields of fire."
A "look down shooting position" usually results in a hole in your foot.
Thanks for the insight Dan, I'm sure our readers had great difficulty understanding "look down shooting positions".
I was picturing more of a deer stand, myself.
Dan - I have a picture of CW in a deer stand. Correction. I went to take a picture of CW in a deer stand but he was no longer there. Instead I got a picture of him sleeping in my truck with the heat on.
This will likely not take anyone by surprise.
