CW for Romney Cracks $21K

While I was away this weekend, we received a donation from a Navy vet from Norfolk and the best real estate agent in Central North Carolina. Today, we had a very generous donation yesterday from the great state of Illinois, bringing us to well over $21K.  So much so, that we are in striking distance of $22K....

Just two days until the VP Debate.  I'm looking forward to this, but I warn all Romney Ryan supporters to remember that Joe Biden's been in the Senate for nearly 40 years.  The man knows his stuff, he sounds the part, and he will invariably try and take the debate in the direction of his interests--foreign policy--away from Ryan's.

If Ryan wins, I don't think anyone will be surprised.  It will be yet another nail in the slowly closing coffin that is the Obama Presidency.

Please click this link to donate...to the CW for Romney Fund.  It is essential that you check the box that says you know your referrer, and that when you do so, it brings up two boxes, one with "INT 2012" in it, and the other with the number "4847" in it.  If they aren't there, please type them in.  That's how the blog gets credit.

That was a Marine Corps vet from Norfolk.

And I think Biden will actually win the debate. He's a skilled and accomplished debater and isn't likely to go off-script in that setting. But I think a debate win, particularly if he's very aggressive, will be a double-edged sword for Team O. Won't it just remind people how weak Obama was? Won't it again remind people that Obama needs to be propped up by Biden and Bill Clinton and he can't do it on his own?

Please pass along my apologies for theinsult, Sally. Indeed all donations to this fund are generous, so I need to stop using that word.

As for the debate, no, I think Ryan will win. If he is as dearless as he was during that medicare panel at the white house in 2009. If he nreves up, he could do poorly. Facts, facts, and more facts.

I'm with the pig boat driver...I think that Ryan will win. And this is why. Joe is a rude boor with a very high opinion of himself that his character doesn't match. There is a reason that the Democrats didn't run him for president the six or seven times (I lost count) that he tried for the nomination.

He'll faux pander to Ryan and bully him. Ryan will remain above it and will come off as sincere and professional.

I predict that the thug side of Biden will emerge as he overstates his aggressiveness to compensate for the Obama melt-down. And it won't sit well with the voters, who will watch the debate in large numbers.

Paul Ryan is a very sharp guy. Biden is past his prime and the beltway bluster he's known for (not necessarily gaffs) will not play well in America's living rooms.
