I like what the graphic artist has done with the fish--any thoughts on the three presentations above?

Part fish part David Lloyd George. I don't get it. I would go with the Waldo thing recently posted.
The top one because the emphasis - because of typeface and size - is on Conservative.
Because of the fonts used, the second one puts emphasis on Wahoo and while being a grad from Mr. Jefferson's joint is noble, it isn't what you're going for.
The third one is just boring compared to the other two with the same font used throughout.
I rank them in this order: 1st logo, third one, then the second logo.

Something I missed. I do like the cutlass - or whatever type of aword it is - instead of the cane. Very nice.
And of course the "tat" of the anchor for the Navy. Taken with the sword (for UVa and Naval Officer) you have two of the great loves of your life covered!
Can you tell I'm bored recovering from the surgery?
I prefer the third one. Simple, straightforward. The fish gives it enough interest - no need to do it with fonts.
I disagree with Doc about the first one. My mind gives the emphasis to the words in italics. I would give emphasis equally to conservative and wahoo.
PK knows what she's talking about. Not that I have a vote but #3 looks the best.
You might want to add a tagline underneath the title in italics. Something like "Swimming against the currents since 2008" or "Because politics and fish smell after three days"

#1 Would look much better if you make all the fonts the same as used in "Conservative".
#2 is eye-catching but too much emphasis on Wahoo.
#3 I might like it more if you put "The" and "Wahoo" in italics.
So my vote is: Either #1 with all the fonts the same as you used in "Conservative" or #3 with "The" and "Wahoo" in italics.
(Sometimes I crack myself up).

Still looks like a cross between "Mr. Peanut" and "The Incredible Mr. Limpett."
