A good day on Wall Street, but not that good. A bit of irrational exuberance, I'd say, just like the big losses this week were the result of irrational pessimism. Central banks pumping money into the system is a good idea, and the feds thinking about something like the RTC from Savings and Loan crisis days is also a good idea.
There's plenty of money out there ladies and gentlemen, but it is sitting on the sidelines waiting to get back in the game. Confidence will breed confidence, and eventually, that money will flow back in.
