Mudge said...: GG - not to mention nearly tripling funding to fight aids in africa. he really was an evil bastard wasn't he? and i just don't see the rebuilding the country. i've seen countries in need of rebuilding and we have a LONG way to go to claim a need for "rebuilding". It makes us sound like we need to replace an out of date crystal chandelier in our mansion. This country is undergoing its financial comeuppance for a widespread cultural inability to delay gratification...and credit was the train upon which we rode to get here. that government is the worst offender of all should not surprise us that as the self-imposed enforcer of "fair" business practices, we ended up in this mess.; May 18, 2009
