On Obama's Skoolyard Bloviations:

"The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising
for the president," said Rep. Richard Gephardt.

Patricia Schroeder said the
speech showed "the arrogance of power," and that the White House should not be "using precious dollars for campaigns" when "we are struggling for every silly
dime we can get" for education.

So remarked some of our representatives back when George H.W. Bush first addressed students back in 1991.

This morning's USA Today reports that lesson plans sent to schools originally suggested that students write letters to themselves "about what they can do to help the president".

The wording has since been changed to suggest that the students' letters focuson ways to achieve their educational goals; no doubt changed because concerned parents spoke up.

I'm putting out a hit on Dana Bible, NC State's offensive coordinator. We have an outstanding scrambling QB who can actually throw the ball and how does Bible use him? To quote this idiot, Wilson plays too fast, we need to make him play at NC State speed not Russell Wilson speed. So, he turns the guy into a pocket passer. Last year this guy ran rampant over Miami, some pretty quick guys. Last night he had negative rushing yardage. Our defense played well enough to win but our offense couldn't score in a brothel in a suit made of 100 dollar bills.
This guy is a friggin' maroon!

Does Van Jones, 9/11 truther and name-caller of Republicans, resign today, sometime during the weekend, or never?

Van Jones, wasn't he in all those "Love Bug" movies in the early '70s. Or is he the radical race-baiting Marxist from Oakland that keeps using the word asshole and Whitey when describing his love for the environment? I always get those guys confused.

It all comes down to the cult of personality. Our Most Beloved President Obama can do no wrong. He sends chills up the legs of his listeners.

Van Jones is just another (charismatic) radical with whom he associates. I wonder how many more of these crazies are going to come out of the wood work.

A science czar who doesn't believe babies are humans until they contribute to society (around age 6).
A green jobs special advisor who is really a Red.
A fiery black liberation reverend.
A Supreme Court Justice who seemed racist.
And an all around crazy dude to "regulate" without accountability to congress.

Van Jones is toast. If this is true (and you know it is because it's on the interwebs) he was on the Truther organizing committee. http://www.rense.com/general18/march.htm

One of the arguments against cap and trade is that the carbon tax will put our economy on an uneven playing field with India and China who are unlikely to subscribe to such emissions controls. If we forget about the controversial aim of reversing climate change for now and assume that to do so would stem the outflow of wealth to petrodictatorships, how is insisting on said tax different than the higher costs created for American owned companies by insisting they adhere to a higher human/workers' rights principles than other nations?

Van Jones will remain because just as it was prior to his election, the mindless electorate will not hold Obama accountable for his foibles.

Barry S--I see goodness in what you're asking here, but don't completely understand. Could you re-word this for possible cut/paste into an entry of its own?
