Some Interesting Tax Data

From this mornng's WaPost.

Again, serious liberal tripe here.  Headline "For Richest, Federal Taxes Have Gone Down".  Yes.  And also the poorest.  In fact, EVERYONE's taxes went down as a result of the 2001/2003 tax cuts. But that doesn't fit the narrative....

So let me get this straight--if 45% of American households have zero tax liability--isn't it DAMN likely that a goodly number of the "rich don't pay enough taxes" crowd actually pay nothing themselves?

Just askin'.

I'm sure the Richmond Times Dispatch reprinted the same article as they also used the same headline. Shame on them.

I'm hearing more and more Dems levy accusatory questions at the GoP about GE not paying any taxes on however many billions of profit they made last year. Yet I haven't heard a single GoP response refering them to the White House’s new Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. I'd turn it right around and ask them how GE has such close ties to the White House and the Dem party while avoiding such taxes...the People's Party my ass. How much money did GE get from the American taxpayer to buy up the surplus of Chevy Volts that no one wanted so GMC's CEO, one Barak Obama, wouldn't have to admit that it is a collosal failure and a portent of other "green" technologies being shoved up the American taxpayers' collective exhaust pipe?
