Big Fat Friday Free For All

What's got you down, friend?  Turn out your little "internet film" wasn't the cause of the riots you had SO hoped was the case?  Jewish vote abandoning you over your Middle East policies?  Finding it just too darn hard to change Washington from the inside?

Well then, share your pain.  We're here to help.

Robert Burns and Ben Feller of the Associated Press already has Obama as a two-term president. Headline, page 3A of today's Raleigh News & Oberver:

"Obama's record with Muslims uneven
Strides and setbacks in Middle East relations mark the president's first term in office"

Or, does the N&O write their own headline for an AP story?

Well that's just what they do. Here's an email exchange I had with one of the editors.

Hello Hammer.

Hmm. Given those two choices, gonna have to go with the latter.

I reckon you can choose to believe it or not, but the fact that we had
gotten no letters in support of Romney's statement is the truth
nonetheless. Got our first pro-Romney-47-percent letter today ... at
364 words, 164 over the limit. But because we've had none in support,
I moved it over anyway and used time I don't have to edit it down.
Which is what I ALWAYS do when we've had an overwhelming number of
letters on one side of an issue, that is, bend over backward to get in
the opposing view.

You'll find it in Sunday Forum this Sunday.
