Great Days Ahead for the National GOP
As I watch Governor Palin give her speech, read about Bobby Jindal down in Louisiana, and think about Tim Pawlenty up in Minnesota, I'm convinced that no matter how this election goes, the Republican Party's got some stars ready to pick up the flag and carry it into future battles.

The great days ahead for the GOP will require the great unwashed masses to examine what the Democrats have accomplished since they regained a majority in congress. They will need to observe that the Democrats will do things that are detrimental to our country in order to make political hay. Can anyone say Nancy Pelosi not allowing a vote on drilling in ANWR or offshore? In fact can anyone tell me just one thing the democratic majority has accomplished since they regained the majority? And alas, the Democratic party constituency will remain steadfast in their support as long as they are promised “FREE STUFF” and brainwashed into believing that people who have studied hard in school, worked hard in life and saved should give much of their savings to those who did not.
Smoothfur - You clearly lack the understanding of "equality" in a DEMOCRATIC society. The party symbolized by a jackass defines equality as: If you work and earn a dollar and I don't work, then equality means we each get 30 cents. (The other 40 cents goes to the federal government infrastructure that is in place to reapportion the wealth). You either lack compassion (for which dems claim a monopoly) or you just don't understand equality. To sum up, I would like to ditto CW's "bravo".
