Another Member of the Press Looks Inward

A truly great indictment of the press. A perfectly written take-down.

Where were all these journalists with their newly found consciences early on during the campaign? Why were they not asking the probing questions about Obama's past and his associates again and again until they received satisfactory answers? Why did they not fill the pages of newspapers and the time on the airwaves with the same misgivings that they now express when it is so late in the game?

Perhaps it is the pessimist in me that makes me doubt their late conversion to honest journalism and attributes it instead to their desire to be able to say that they were unbiased. (The sound you hear is me puking at their duplicity)

Goodbye America, we loved you.

I agree with Smoothfur. A third of the country has already voted and now these folks have an epiphany?
I suppose they're just setting the stage for six months from now when they turn on him.

Excellent article. It is the elephant in the room that no one cares to talk (write) about.
