Mmm, when one hears the word "stagflation" it is usually associated with the Peanut Farmer.
"fellow elder statesman"?
Any headline dealing with Carter should by law start out "Disgraced President".
I was living and workin in Iran When former President Carter came there and began the ball rolling toward the overthrow of the Shah and the implementation of an Islamic state. Sometimes foreigners see our politicians more clearly than we, as was evidenced by some graffiti I saw on a wall one morning on my way to work. Some Iranian had written "Mr. President Carter is a penis head". It was true then and has become more true over the years.
