Watch this video. It is a reconstruction of the US AIR Flight 1549 last summer, the one that ditched in the Hudson. Serious professionalism from the flight crew AND the air traffic controllers. Nicely done by all.

You beat me to this one. I thought the same, but was going to include a clip from Airplane showing Lloyd Bridges saying "Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue."
That is a fantastic link. Wow, amazing coordination. Great tower and control work as well. Those guys got not credit but worked very hard to clear up airspace and divert runways for Capt. Sully.
Probably wasn't a lot of fun for the passengers but the crew did a hell of a job. You can actually hear the angst in the tower's voice.
It's really amazing how the mind works. I've been in one (just one thank God) life or death situation and most people react the same way. They clear their minds, get very focused on what they have to do and if they're lucky, they get through it.
