Thank You
I'm attending a symposium of the Surface Navy Association in Arlington this week. I had about a half-dozen people in Navy uniforms approach me today--some I knew, others I didn't--to tell me how much they enjoy reading the blog. Means a lot to me. Thanks.

I didn't realize how much traffic you got here. I honestly thought this thing was frequented by a dozen or so UVA grads with too much time on their hands...plus the occasional troll from DailyKos.
So in light of that, I endeavor to be a bit more highbrow in my insults. No longer will I be crude, rude and abusive. I will be nice. And who knows, one day I may get that call saying "Hammer, how would you like a job in foggy Bottom?"
