I'd like to talk about commodities, specifically Cuban cigars. Sergeant Major just returned from a visit to Ireland and per my instructions brought back two Cuban stogies from the tobacconist on Westmoreland Street (just across from Trinity College if you're familiar with Dublin). Well, I was of course delighted...until I heard how much they cost. Hold on to your hats boys and girls, them thangs were 22 Euros each. That's right friends, $28.00 each. I nearly dropped my duty-free magnum of cheap whiskey.
Do you see, do you? A communist country using squid eating, cardboard shoe wearing slave labor sells to a socialist country that taxes the fleas on your dog and this is the result. All I can say is these friggin' cigars better give me a 20 minute body orgasm or I'm kicking Sergeant Major in her arse.
Not that these are Cuban (Cuban seed yes), but I remember purchasing a box of Macanudo Portofinos and had them sent to the very young CW during GW1. The cost was something like $28.00 for the box. They're about $100/box now. Ouch!!!
Do prayers for atheists go unheeded?

Ok Hammer, Dogra. That's enough of that.
Couldn't agree more.
