Folks--we are in the final weekend of this election season. It is imperative that you do two things: the firs is to call a few right-leaning friends and make damn sure they are going to the polls on Tuesday, or early voting or absentee voting or whatever it is they do to render their judgment in our democracy. Romney is going to win this election because of one thing and one thing only. Our people show up.
Secondly, this is the last weekend you have to donate to the Romney Campaign. He is blistering the airwaves in all the battleground states and has opened up media buys in Minnesota and Pennsylvania. The "preference cascade" is underway, but we need some more help to get over the finish line.
I assure you--money you contribute in the last week of the campaign WILL
NOT GO TO WASTE.

To the first point on people showing up: if you're in a swing state, contact your local Republican Party office to see how you can help on Election Day. While the term 'ground game' is getting tiresome, the Romney team does have a really sophisticated ground game effort that depends heavily on volunteers. (I can tell you more about it once I work my way through the 65 pages of instructions they sent me). Seriously people, giving a few hours on Tuesday can help make a difference.
I just voted and it had the feel of 1980. They did make me sign a form after verifying my name and address, which was a nice surprise. If Obama wins I'm cashing out going full survival mode. I saw a cool underground bunker on tv I wouldn't mind having.
