Who Is Scott Brown?
Well, for one thing, he is arguably more qualified to be elected President in 2012 than Illinois State Senator Obama was when he won his Senate seat in 2004......

So are you if THAT is the standard we are applying.
On what basis would you argue that? And why?
Academic qualifications? Brown's Communication Arts degree at Tufts vs. Obama's Poli Sc & Intl Relations degree from Columbia? Or a BC Law degree vs. Harvard Law (magna cum laude, Editor Harvard Law Review)?
Legal expertise? Brown's family law practice vs. Obama's civil rights law practice, 12 years U of Chicago Constitution Law professorship?
Legislative impact in the state senate? Brown's vote for cap & trade, support for Roe v Wade, activism against the wind turbines in Nantucket Sound as being "ugly" vs. Obama's ethics, health care, death penalty reforms.
Impact on the national stage? Are you pitting Brown's speeches against gay marriage and public exposure of students's statements on Facebook at King Philip High School down the street from me against Obama's keynote speech at the Democratic Natl Convention?
Agreeing with you on policy issues doesn't count as being "more qualified."

I guess you need a token liberal on your site to remind us that their views are really as silly and cartoonish as we read in the papers or on the 'net.
Academic qualifications? Poli Sci & IR are that tougher than Communications? C'mon, anyone who ever went to college knows they're both easy majors.
And just how did Barry do in his courses? What sort of student was he that he was able to gain acceptance into Columbia and Harvard? We've never seen transcripts. Heck, we all got to see Bush's Yale grades. Any chance Barry O got into those elite schools due to affirmative action? Any chance Ghost?
Brown went into private practice to earn a living while Barry retreated into academics.
Hussein's obviously popular enough to get elected or selected for anything he desires. But he never can provide the results.
But he does read a good speech.
Casper, nice assumption there: where did I assess Poli Sci or Intl Rel as tougher than Comm? If I was to start judging what's on the balance, I'd be far more likely to weigh the rigor of each school against the other, given my own bias towards a broad liberal arts background.
I put up this comparison of bare bones credentials to ask where CW was coming up with the factors in "more qualified" math. If you want to pull in "serious" #s comparing Brown's undergrad grades against Obama's go right ahead, I've not seen either, but would be perfectly happy to add that into the balance.
Both Brown and Obama practiced their law trade.
You say "But he never can provide the results." Back that rather vague claim up a bit: where do you see that, in the Senate where he sponsored and co sponsored a wide range of legislation? On the various committees in which he served? In his Presidential campaign? Or going back in time to compare state senate apples to state senate apples: vast difference in favor of Obama, in terms of scope, reach and volume.
Not really a brilliant argument to question how anyone gets into high prestige schools or bring President Bush into the discussion. Obama's record shows him starting at Occidental and applying as a transfer to Columbia and Bush got into the very competitive Yale with what he described as a C average and SAT score that wouldn't make the average Ivy admissions officer's heart skip a beat. Did either affirmative action or legacy acceptance come into play for either? I don't know and neither do you.
I guess it's hard to break habits and scrape the teenage sarcasm and personal insults (ouch: cartoonish, silly) and name calling off the crap you are accustomed to flinging at anyone with a different perspective from yours, but give it an effort on this site. The proprietor is a dear friend of mine.
