Barney Fwank drew a reaction from the crowd recently while boarding a ferry to a popular gay haunt on Fire Island. Seems there's a ONE DOLLAR discount for seniors. One dollar, people. As the esteemed Mr. Frank didn't have a Suffolk County senior I.D., he was turned down...and great drama ensued. A witness to the affair considered giving him the dollar in an effort to defuse the situation.
If only he were this prudent with our money....

guy is too much.
Sally Sally Sally. It's not "our money," it's Congress' money. When will you conservatives learn? How else is Congress and the Administration supposed to ensure our happiness and well-being if they allow citizens like us to keep the money we earn? We citizens can't be trusted with our own earnings. And we sure as hell can't be trusted with our legally owned fire arms. Get with the [progressive] program.
Leave Rep. Fwank alone! He's a sweetie.
When I first heard this, I thought the reporter said "Barney Frank was boarding a fairy."
About ten years ago I was boarding a flight from Providence to DCA (USAIR) and Congressman Frank raised hell with the poor gate staff for not upgrading him to first class (I guess he thought they should kick out a revenue passenger to upgrade him)...sorry, but the guy's a jerk irrespective of anything else...
