Uncertainty Holds Up Hiring

More on the increasingly deafening drumbeat that businesses aren't hiring because they just don't know what the next shoe to drop in their operating environment will be.  Some of my lib friends seem to think this is all much ado about nothing, and some seem to think that business "had it coming to them".  Others think there's nothing even remotely anti-business about Mr. Obama's policies.

Of course, none of these people actually work in business--but that's another story.

Business had it coming to them? If some lib said that to me I'd rip them a new asshole.
Listen, in the nicest possible way ask them to please refrain from buying groceries for a month, after all we must punish food conglomerates for poisoning us. Ask them to stop buying petrol and get their fat bubblegum asses on their mountain bikes, after all we must support green energy. And instead of using up our precious water resources, dig a slit-trench in the back yard and remember, no toilet paper (that's why God invented corncobs). We must save our woodlands.
Or... you could just keep it simple and give 'em the back of your hand.

Much ado about nothing?

Of course, they were probably tooling around the Eastern Shore in their granddaddy's 1929 Hacker Craft when they said it, so I can understand.

It's just amazing how 'corporation' has become such a dirty word in the past year or so.
