I wish Boehner spoke like this more often. Democrat Gene Taylor's comment was equally good:
"A lot of people walked the plank on a bill that will never become law," Rep. Gene Taylor (D-Miss.) told The Hill after the gavel came down.

Did you happen to catch his mini-filibuster on Friday afternoon? I knew I had crossed the line into total nerd-dom when I was riveted to C-Span for 90 minutes watching him. I know you're not crazy about the guy, but I'm telling you, he was masterful.
And Happy Birthday! I can't ever remember if it's the 27th or the
