Vice President Cheney received a heart transplant today and is recovering in a Northern VA hospital. I wish this good man well.
I also wish to be the first to alert the world to the onslaught of civility we are about to witness from our intellectual, illuminated, refined and, above all, hate-free friends from the left.

Most of Cheney's critics wouldn't make a decent pimple on his ass. He was a serious man in a serious job with not a lot of time or tolerance for games. He has an incredible intellect and reasoning ability, as well as an encyclopedic memory. And he is a gentleman with class and dignity and bearing. He would have made a great president.
The fervor in the left's attacks on this man is a testament to their fear and loathing of him and the ideas he so skillfully promotes and defends. I wish him a speedy recovery.
