The two women Obama is considering (Kagan & Wood) are both left wing looney tunes. One considers herself a law unto herself,(ignoring higher court rulings, precedence etc.), the other is basically a well connected gay activist with an impeccable pedigree. Neither has the chops for the Supremes. Merrick Garland (the token male) would be a better choice. From what I've read he would be along the lines of an Anthony Kennedy. But Leahy would probably hate him so good luck with that one.
I heard something on the tube last night that was kind of surprising. Stevens is the last Protestant on the bench. That's right friends, the rest are either Jews or Catholics.
I thought WASPs ran this country? I guess not.
